Live Oak added to the longest winning streak in Santa Teresa this week by beating Gunderson, 35-14. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Acorns.

Silver Creek fell to Lincoln 41-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Bryan Durate made the biggest impact on defense this week as Leigh topped Westmont. He racked up 1 sack.

Tommy Druhan was a beast in the backfield as the Longhorns bested the Warriors.

Izaiah Gonzalez threw for 254 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was 9-13 with 2 interceptions.

Cole Campi was the best receiver in the league this week as Live Oak defeated the Grizzlies. Campi tallied 5 receptions for 100 yards. Jesse Martinez helped Live Oak's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 34 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Leigh's Spencer Barnes and Brian Galvan have proven to be a lethal combination. Barnes has thrown for 1,238 yards this season, while Galvan has 30 catches for 431 yards. Trevor Bearden from Mike Gemo's team leads the league in rushing with 2,253 yards.

Mark Derobertis of the Westmont is just 55 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 101 carries Derobertis has put up 945 yards this year.

A big matchup in Santa Teresa this week will be when Kyle Padia's team takes on the Raiders. At the moment, the Longhorns are in second, while Silver Creek is in fifth.

Evergreen Valley and the Bulldogs played the most contested game in the league this week, with Evergreen Valley eventually emerging with a 16-13 victory.
