Providence Christian had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.9 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They blew past the Samson Tigers, posting a 70-25 win. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Tigers are ranked 424th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the defeat, Samson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ben McKenzie posted four points and seven boards.
