Football Recap: Mineral Point Takes a Loss

Mineral Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost to the Belleville Wildcats on the road by a 33-14 margin. The Pointers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Mineral Point's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Belleville, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Mineral Point will welcome Turner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Belleville, they will head out on the road to challenge Southwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
