Basketball Recap: Spartanburg Vikings vs. James F. Byrnes Rebels
Spartanburg lost against James F. Byrnes back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartanburg Vikings took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the James F. Byrnes Rebels. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Spartanburg lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being De'Asia Bridges, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 11 points along with eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Nelson, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 11 points.
