Baseball Game Preview: East Leopards vs. West Panthers

For the second straight game, East will face off against West. The Leopards will challenge the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and West a 19-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck.

East is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on West with a sharp 17-6 victory on Tuesday. The Leopards haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Elias Larson was a standout: he scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Another player making a difference was Dylan Treend, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

East always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .596. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

West's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for East, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.
