Recap: Cross Schools Stingrays vs. Varsity Opponent

The Cross Schools Stingrays scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 91-12 at home. That 79 points margin sets a new team best for Cross Schools this season.

Luke Fulda continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a triple-double on 20 points, nine rebounds, and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Quintin Beasley, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds.

The win makes it two in a row for Cross Schools and bumps their season record up to 8-13. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 268-1018-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cross Schools will face off against Bethesda Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bethesda Academy is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games. Varsity Opponent won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Salem at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th.
