Volleyball Recap: Windermere Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Windermere was the 3-1 winner over The First Academy when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolverines lost 3-0 to the Royals on Thursday. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Windermere had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 25-19.

Windermere now has a losing record of 1-2. As for The First Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windermere will welcome Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for The First Academy, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Lake Minneola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
