Softball Recap: Rye Triumphs

Rye took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Clarkstown North, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Garnets had just enough and edged out the Rams 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Garnets have posted since May 3, 2025.

The win made it two in a row for Rye and bumps their season record up to 5-12. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Clarkstown North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Rye nor Clarkstown North have any future games scheduled.
