Grosse Pointe South entered their tilt with University Liggett on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Knights a 7-0 shutout. Considering the Blue Devils have won 16 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Grosse Pointe South's victory bumped their record up to 24-7. As for University Liggett, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
