Football Preview: Ilwaco Fishermen vs. Napavine Tigers        
        
		
             On Friday Ilwaco will have to hit the road after four straight games at home. They will face off against the Napavine Tigers at 7:00  p.m.
 Ilwaco is headed into the  game out to prove that what happened against Pe Ell/Willapa Valley  on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Ilwaco took a  blow against Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, falling  36-6. The Fishermen haven't had much luck with the  recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Napavine). They breezed by Raymond/South Bend on the road  to the tune of  61-7 on Friday. The Tigers pushed the score to  55-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Ravens cut but never quite recovered from.
 Ilwaco's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Napavine,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 4-2.
 Ilwaco took a serious blow against Napavine  when the teams last played  back in October of 2022, falling  69-15. That  match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Ilwaco was down  61-8.
