Volleyball Game Preview: Stansbury Stallions vs. Jordan Beetdiggers

The Stansbury Stallions will head out on the road to face off against the Jordan Beetdiggers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Stansbury came up short against Park City and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Stallions in their meetings with the Miners: they've now lost four in a row.

Stansbury came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 20-25, 26-24, 25-23, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Jordan got the win against Hillcrest on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Beetdiggers in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won three in a row.

One reason for the win was Jordan's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-15.

Stansbury's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Jordan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Stansbury came out on top in a nail-biter against Jordan in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stallions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
