Football Game Preview: Screven County Gamecocks vs. Charlton County Indians + How To Watch

The Screven County Gamecocks will host the Charlton County Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Screven County will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Screven County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Glascock County get on the board and left with a 48-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Gamecocks, who have now won nine games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Screven County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was AB Hilton out in front who rushed for 74 yards and a pair of scores. Hilton showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 60 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Demarko Ward, who rushed for 50 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Screven County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 263 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 175 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Screven County, adding 14 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Slate Thompson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Charlton County against Macon County on Friday as the team secured a 35-7 win.

Charlton County now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Screven County, their record is now 11-0.
