Volleyball Recap: Classical Academy Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Classical Academy won the last time they faced Pacific Ridge and things went their way on Wednesday too. Classical Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Pacific Ridge, sneaking past 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Caimans.

Classical Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Pacific Ridge into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-16, 21-25, 18-25, 15-12.

Dane Roblee paced Classical Academy's offense, picking up 17 kills. Roblee got some help from Joshua Marion and his 41 assists. Finally, Roblee was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Classical Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9. As for Pacific Ridge, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-10.

Coincidentally, Classical Academy and Pacific Ridge will both be playing Foothills Christian the next time they take the court. Classical Academy will head out to face Foothills Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Pacific Ridge will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
