Lake Arthur is headed into the match having just suffered their closest defeat since February 13, 2024 on Thursday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to Dora, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Melrose against Elida on Tuesday as the squad secured an 80-20 win. The Buffaloes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Melrose is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 46.7 points. As for Lake Arthur, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
