Heard County won the last time they faced Temple and things went their way on Friday too. The Braves claimed a resounding 35-0 win over the Tigers. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Braves' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Tigers are ranked 274th).

Heard County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Tisdale out in front who threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 45 yards. Tripp Curbow was Tisdale's top target, picking up 136 receiving yards and one TD.

Heard County's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Temple, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Heard County will be playing in front of their home fans against Darlington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Braves will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Temple, they will head out to square off against Haralson County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels' defense has only allowed 10.6 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
