Cardinal came tearing into Tuesday's match with 12 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Grand Valley Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Cardinal was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-14.

Natalie Soltis paced Cardinal's offense, picking up 23 kills. Soltis got some help from Lucy Klepper and her 28 assists. Lillian Rulong controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Cardinal's victory bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Grand Valley, their defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 15-4.

Cardinal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Harding on the 2nd. As for Grand Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against St. John on the 2nd.
