Softball Recap: Lebanon Comes Up Short

Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Cascade Cougars, falling 12-2.

Lebanon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mahala Pyle, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that Pyle hit this season.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Cascade, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lebanon will take on Glencoe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crimson Tide's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Cascade, they will square off against Estacada at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
