Softball Preview: County Line Indians vs. Scranton Rockets

County Line is 0-10 against Scranton since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The County Line Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Scranton Rockets at 4:30 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, County Line had just enough and edged Mountainburg out 3-2.

Meanwhile, everything went Scranton's way against Nemo Vista on Thursday as Scranton made off with a 12-2 victory.

DeLaney Mainer made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. Mainer has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. Mainer was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
