Baseball Preview: Peninsula Seahawks vs. Curtis Vikings

The Peninsula Seahawks will head out on the road to face off against the Curtis Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Peninsula can't be too worried about heading out to take on Curtis: they just beat Silas at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Seahawks blew past the Rams 9-1 on Wednesday. The Seahawks have beaten the Rams the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rams has come to flipping the script.

John Browand looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Pete Browand was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Andy Merry, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
