Mountain View dropped down to 3-2 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 45-28 bruising from the Springville Red Devils. The game marked the Bruins' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

As for Springville, they now have a winning record of 4-3. The win continues a trend for them in their matchups with Mountain View: they've now won four in a row.

Springville was led to victory by Hattie Templeman and Sami Dellamas. Templeman dropped a double-double with 15 points and 14 boards, while Dellamas shot 55% from the field en route to 18 points and six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Dellamas has scored at least a third of the Red Devils' points. Another player making a difference was Halle Hall, who posted eight points.

Looking ahead, Mountain View will take on Bear River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Springville, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Corner Canyon at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
