Basketball Recap: Lac qui Parle Valley Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles didn't have quite enough to beat the Murray County Central Rebels and fell 63-60.

Lac qui Parle Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Murray County Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lac qui Parle Valley will head out to square off against Rockford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Murray County Central, they and Minneota will face off at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
