Baseball Recap: Winona Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

It was a proper cat-fight when Winona challenged French Camp Academy on Tuesday. The Winona Tigers won by a run and slipped past the French Camp Academy Panthers 10-9. The win was just business as usual for the Tigers, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Miles Bailey was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three doubles, two RBI, and one run. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Jordan Richardson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Winona's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for French Camp Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Winona will have a chance to go back-to-back against French Camp Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
