Baseball Recap: University Takes a Loss

University was the 9-5 winner over Central Valley when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans came up short against the Bears on Thursday, falling 9-3.

University dropped their record down to 12-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Central Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

University and Central Valley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Titans will challenge Cheney at 4:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (37 vs. 191). Meanwhile, Central Valley (ranked 12th) will meet Mead (ranked 244th) at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
