Recap: Prairie View Buffalos vs. Anderson County Bulldogs
There's no place like home for The Prairie View Buffalos, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Anderson County 48-13 at home. The result was nothing new for Prairie View, who have now won four contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Prairie View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parker Schwarz, who rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. Gabe Murillo was another key contributor, rushing for 162 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.
Prairie View's victory bumped their record up to 4-4. As for Anderson County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Prairie View will be playing at home against Baxter Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Baxter Springs is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Anderson County, they will head out on the road to face off against Galena at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (Galena is ranked 203rd, while Anderson County is ranked 188th).
