Volleyball Recap: Western Wayne Extends Winning Streak to Four

Western Wayne had won three straight games and Theo Black did his part to make it four on Thursday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Elk Lake Warriors with plenty of help from Black, who had 21 assists. Black is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 21 every time he's taken the court this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 25-17.

Western Wayne now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Elk Lake, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Western Wayne and Elk Lake will both be playing Forest City the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Foresters at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
