Football Recap: Xaverian Comes Up Short

Xaverian lost against St. Joseph-by-the-Sea back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Clippers lost to the Vikings on the road by a 20-6 margin. The contest marked the Clippers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Among those leading the charge was Sinclair Miles, who picked up 96 receiving yards and one TD. Those 96 receiving yards gave him a new career-high.

Xaverian's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for St. Joseph-by-the-Sea, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Xaverian will face off against Cardinal Spellman at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Clippers are facing the Pilots at the right time seeing as the Pilots are stuck on a three-game losing streak. St. Joseph-by-the-Sea does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
