Volleyball Recap: Palmetto Ridge Takes a Loss

If Palmetto Ridge was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lely on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canterbury Cougars on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2019.

Palmetto Ridge now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Canterbury, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Palmetto Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Divine Savior Academy on the 4th. As for Canterbury, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Riverdale on the 4th.
