Volleyball Recap: Northview's Run of Six Straight Victories Now Over

After a string of six wins, Northview's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wesleyan Wolves. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Northview ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17.

Leading Wesleyan to victory were Cassie Lohr and Emily Miller. Lohr had 13 digs and one assist, while Miller had eight digs. Lohr is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Northview's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Wesleyan, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Northview and Wesleyan will both be playing Chamblee the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
