Volleyball Recap: Royal Extends Winning Streak to Three

Royal entered their tilt with Malibu on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Malibu Sharks. The Highlanders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Sharks, too.

Royal not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Malibu between 16 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-19.

Royal's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Malibu, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Royal will take on Oak Park at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Malibu, they will head out on the road to challenge Santa Monica at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
