Baseball Recap: Jersey Village Beats Cypress Ridge for Their Third Straight Win

Jersey Village waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Cypress Ridge Rams with a sharp 12-2 win. Considering the Falcons have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ryan Ambrus was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Jersey Village's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-14 when he doesn't). Nathan Ultis was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Jersey Village was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Jersey Village's record now sits at 8-14. As for Cypress Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season.
