Softball Game Preview: Weston Silver Eagles vs. De Soto Pirates

Weston hasn't had much luck against De Soto recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Silver Eagles will host the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. Weston has given up an average of 14.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Weston took a 14-run loss the last time they faced off against North Crawford, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Silver Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trojans on Monday, sneaking past 14-12. The Silver Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, De Soto unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 11-8 to Seneca.

Weston's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for De Soto, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
