The Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue will face off against the Dora Coyotes at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Roy/Mosquero is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.5 points per game this season.

Roy/Mosquero is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Cimarron just ended the team's 17-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a hard 61-43 fall against the Rams.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ike Smith, who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Ayden Clavel, who had 15 points.

Even though they lost, Roy/Mosquero smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in seven consecutive games.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Dora and Gateway Christian, and Dora kept the tradition alive. Dora was dealt an 82-47 loss at the hands of Gateway Christian last Thursday. The Coyotes' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Roy/Mosquero's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Dora, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-15.

Roy/Mosquero beat Dora 51-43 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Will Roy/Mosquero repeat their success, or does Dora have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
