Del Norte took a serious blow against Rangely last week, falling 15-52. Del Norte were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-52.

Meanwhile, Dolores Huerta Prep ended up a good deal behind Calhan when they played, losing 28-48.

The losses dropped Del Norte to 0-2 and Dolores Huerta Prep 0-3. If Dolores Huerta Prep want to win, Dolores Huerta Prep will need to focus on stopping Del Norte's senior Keegan Medina, who passed for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns, and senior Kaleb Batzer, who caught passes for 61 yards and 2 touchdowns.
