Basketball Recap: Bishop Brady Takes a Loss

Bishop Brady lost against Oyster River back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bishop Brady Giants were outmatched by the Oyster River Bobcats and fell 68-34. While losing is never fun, the Giants can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Bobcats are ranked 16th).

Bishop Brady is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11. As for Oyster River, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Bishop Brady will head out to square off against Pembroke at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oyster River, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bow at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oyster River knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Bow likes a good challenge.
