Basketball Recap: Cole Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Cole won against Long Creek last Tuesday with 43 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Cole Cougars managed a 43-38 victory over the Falls City Beavers. The team ran away with 32 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.

The victory (which was Cole's fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-12. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points per game. As for Falls City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cole Cougars duke it out with the Navarro Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Falls City will take on Sabinal in a holiday battle at at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
