Baseball Recap: Holbrook Comes Up Short

After flying high against Many Farms on Friday, Holbrook came back down to earth. The Roadrunners lost 11-1 to the Chinle Wildcats on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-3 last Wednesday.

Holbrook saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Eisele, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Holbrook moved to 6-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Chinle, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Holbrook has already played their next matchup, a 24-0 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 28th. As for Chinle, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-1 win against Wingate on the 28th.
