Volleyball Recap: Palm Harbor University Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Palm Harbor University couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the Newsome Wolves on Wednesday. Considering the last time the Hurricanes couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-18.

Natalie Kappaz had a dynamite game For Newsome., getting eight digs and four aces. Kappaz is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played. Izabella Ruiz was another key player, getting 11 digs and two assists.

Palm Harbor University's loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 19-8. As for Newsome, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Palm Harbor University does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newsome, they will square off against Winter Haven at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
