Football Game Recap: Monticello vs. Pontiac

Monticello were successful in their last outing against Pontiac, and they didn't afford Pontiac any payback this time around. Everything went Monticello's way against Pontiac on Friday as they made off with a 42-14 win. Monticello were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Monticello added further sheen to their flawless record, now 7-0. With their first loss of the season, Pontiac fell to 6-1.

Next week Monticello take on Prairie Central at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: these teams both put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Pontiac, they will face off against St. Thomas More.
