Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Falls to Saint Mary's Hall in First Game of Season

Lutheran had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Saint Mary's Hall Barons on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Barons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-9, 25-15.

Breanna Benavides was nothing short of spectacular for Saint Mary's Hall: she had 28 digs and 12 aces. Benavides has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 30 times she's played.

Lutheran has already played their next matchup (against Lake Country Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Saint Mary's Hall, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against The Christian School at Castle Hills on the 15th.
