Wharton had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They skirted past the Gaither Cowboys 4-2. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 7-6 victory the Cowboys walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.
