Basketball Recap: Tonasket Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Liberty Bell came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Tonasket, but Tanner Tompkins wouldn't allow it. The Tonasket Tigers managed a 69-64 victory over the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions on Tuesday thanks in part to Tompkins, who went 7 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 41 points and seven boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Tonasket's points.

Tonasket's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-9. As for Liberty Bell, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tonasket will welcome Manson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tonasket knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Manson likes a good challenge.
