Softball Recap: Winnebago Lutheran Academy Takes a Loss

Winnebago Lutheran Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-3 to the St. Mary's Springs Ledgers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ledgers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 back in April.

Macy Christensen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for St. Mary's Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Winnebago Lutheran Academy will venture away from home to challenge Laconia at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Mary's Springs, they will welcome Roncalli at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Ledgers are facing the Jets at the right time seeing as the Jets are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
