Softball Recap: Ware Shoals Victorious

Ware Shoals won the last time they faced Thornwell and things went their way on Friday too. The Hornets walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Saints. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Selena Timms was excellent, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one triple.

The win got Ware Shoals back to even at 5-5. As for Thornwell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ware Shoals will square off against McCormick at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Thornwell, they will head out to challenge Dixie at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
