Wilmot hasn't had much luck against Waterford recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. Wilmot has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wilmot is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest defeat since April 22, 2025 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Burlington by a score of 11-9.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waterford). They blew past Beloit Memorial 17-1 on Tuesday. The Wolverines have beaten the Knights the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Knights has come to flipping the script.

Waterford's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Wilmot, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
