It was a good run, but Manasquan unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 61-48 to the St. Rose Purple Roses. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-45 back in December of 2024.

Manasquan's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2. As for St. Rose, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.

Manasquan and St. Rose should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. Manasquan will square off against Jackson Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Friday up 192 places (8 vs. 200). Meanwhile, St. Rose (ranked tenth) will meet Point Pleasant Boro (ranked 88th) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
