Soccer Recap: Park View Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Park View can now relate to. They fell just short of the Loudoun County Captains by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Loudoun County this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-0 defeat back in April.

Park View's loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Loudoun County, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2-1.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Park View will face off against Tuscarora at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tuscarora's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Loudoun County, they will challenge Dominion at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
