Volleyball Game Preview: Rosamond Roadrunners vs. Desert Scorpions

The Rosamond Roadrunners will take on the Desert Scorpions at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Rosamond is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Vasquez.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Desert came up short against Palmdale Academy Charter School on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Scorpions haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Desert's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Rosamond, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Rosamond couldn't quite get it done against Desert in their previous matchup last Wednesday as they fell 3-1. Can Rosamond avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
