While Palmyra-Eagle's win against St. Catherine wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Angels 3-2. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Angels recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Palmyra-Eagle had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 21-25, 25-19, 27-25, 16-14.

Palmyra-Eagle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaitlyn Kempke, who had four digs and two aces. What's more, Kempke racked up 18 assists, the most she's had over her last six games. Another player making a difference was Madeline Geppert, who had ten digs and two aces.
They weren't the only good server: Palmyra-Eagle was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They are a perfect 3-0 when they serve at least ten aces.
Despite the loss, St. Catherine's still got an impressive performance from Londyn Pardo, who had 16 digs and three aces. Pardo has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.
The victory got Palmyra-Eagle back to even at 6-6. As for St. Catherine's, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Palmyra-Eagle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Madison Country Day on the 16th. As for St. Catherine's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Cudahy on the 13th.
