Soccer Game Preview: Cannon Falls vs. Fairmont

Cannon Falls is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals last Thursday, they were much more limited against Byron on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bears, falling 4-0. The loss was Cannon Falls' first of the season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Fairmont duked it out with Marshall on Thursday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for Fairmont in their meetings with Marshall: they've now lost six in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cannon Falls fell to 3-1-1. As for Fairmont, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
