Volleyball Game Preview: East Noble Knights vs. DeKalb Barons

The East Noble Knights are taking a road trip to take on the DeKalb Barons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, East Noble made easy work of Bellmont and carried off a 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was East Noble's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-8.

Meanwhile, DeKalb had to endure a 13-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a set and slipped past Penn 2-1.

DeKalb's win bumped their record up to 2-20. As for East Noble, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6.

Everything went East Noble's way against DeKalb when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as East Noble made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
